Our Mission 

The object of this Group shall be to provide a social venue for Bears and Bear admirers. The Group achieves its object by:

• Remaining a local, independent, not-for-profit organization;

• Being a group of Bears and Bear admirers welcoming to members speaking either English or French located in the National Capital Region of Canada;

• Providing a safe, tolerant and accepting venue for Bears and Bear admirers to affirm their identity;

• Providing mutual support for members;

• Maintaining contact and support for the Bear community within the National Capital Region, within Canada, and internationally, and,

• Co-operating with other elements of the gay and lesbian community to foster a positive image of the Bear community within the larger gay and lesbian community.
